Biopsies

Procedure where tissue is removed to allow diagnosis of a lesion or mass. Biopsies can be performed using a scalpel or needle. Tissue removed is sent to a pathologist for analysis. Frequently, biopsies can be performed in the office using a local anesthetic and minimal down time.
